Facials!

I am ashamed to say that I am 23 years old and I just got my first facial ever.  I don't know why I was so scared!! It turned out to be a very relaxing and gratifying experience for my face.  I've always had pretty good skin and so I always thought that the idea of getting a facial was just "looking for trouble".  What if the facial triggered something that had been dormant for over 23 years?! Anyway, I put my fears aside when I purchased a groupon for a facial with AB Mackey.  It was kinda hard to get an appointment with my work schedule, but it was well worth the wait.  She even gave me a free facial for next time just because she was running behind schedule that day :-)  Anyway, I am not even sure of what all she did to my face but it started with steam being blown my way.  I'm guessing that was to open up all my dirty pores. I lost tract of what she did after that, but it included some scrubbing, massaging, and lots of rubbing.  She did warn me when she was about to dig for blackheads, just one in my case! YAY FOR ME! She topped the whole thing with a very thick lip balm/gloss that I wore for a few hours after the facial.  My face felt like new! I just wanted to show it off to people so I did not wear make-up for the rest of the day...or week.  I am definitely going to make facials part of my regular routine...maybe not as often as I'd like because they're not the cheapest thing.
